The enthusiasm is infectious. When Bob Ford starts to sing, it doesn't take long until casual toe-tapping and humming turns into an all-out sing-along. The audience can't help itself. Bob presents an array of heartwarming songs and hilarious stories that draw in listeners -- and whisk them back to yesteryear. From familiar folk tunes to country classics by Burl Ives, Johnny Cash, Elvis, Bing Crosby, Kingston Trio, Hank Williams, Tennessee Ernie Ford, Willie Nelson and many many more, his musical repertoire evokes nostalgia for the simpler pleasures.  Let your senior group catch the feel-good fun of a Bob Ford performance. They'll come away engaged, enriched and entertained.

Senior Shows They’ll laugh, clap, sing-a-long, and have a great time. Contact

Kelly Frentsos, Activities Director

Willow Brook at Delaware Run

Bob Ford is not only an accomplished banjo and guitar player that you would enjoy listening instrumentally to; he is also a great folk singer and story teller.  He paints a picture in your mind of the historic time and place of a song and takes you back on a historic journey as you sing along.  My residents feel transported after they spend an hour with Bob.  He truly is a gifted engager of his audience.

Mennonite Home

A beautiful summer evening set the tone for over 100 crowd members at Mennonite Memorial Home’s annual “Concert on the Lawn” last night. This year’s concert featured Bob Ford, a musician and storyteller from Cedarville, OH . Residents, family members and community members gathered to enjoy the folk sounds brought by Ford. Kids, both young and old enjoyed the sounds and soon learned that you can’t simply listen to Bob play – the melodies are so contagious you can’t help but tap your toes. The concert became interactive as Ford invited the crowd to sing along as he performed. While enjoying the music, the crowd enjoyed ice cream sundaes scooped by volunteers and staff. A special thank you to our volunteers who helped make the event such a success!.

Jane King, Activities Director,

Lindley Inn, Athens, Ohio

Having you at The Lindley Inn is the favorite of all of my activities. You always have the best turn out of residences and they remember you and ask when you will be returning. Even residence that don't normally come out of their room to participate in activities are coming to enjoy your music without being reminded that you are here. This is the reason that I have you coming each month. Not only are you great...you are great with interacting with all of them
